We are still here and thriving (and have some really cute items coming for Summer), BUT as I've gotten emails asking about everything from the best hair straightener, to my favorite eye makeup remover, to quick and simple dinner ideas, I've realized that there is such a GIANT need in women's lives for a community that they feel safe and loved and seen in!
SO here we are! You will see everything from hair and makeup demos, to fashion, to easy week night dinners, to travel, to every day life with a toddler. I'm a hot-mess and taking you along for the ride!
I thought it would be fun to do a little random top 10 for you to {RE} introduce myself. Here we go!
1. I am as Texas as you can get, born and raised, but now live in Colorado. Sweet tea, big hair and flip flops are my love languages. This is the log cabin that I grew up on out in East Texas.
2. I have severe endometriosis. I was diagnosed at age 22. Jack is my 1st miracle baby and we are working on miracle baby #2!
3. My husband, Sean, is medically retired from the U.S. Navy. Look at my handsome sailor!! There's a special place in my heart for all of the military spouses. It's not an easy job!
4. My son, Jack, just turned 3 and is the MOST fun! He is ALL boy - give him dinosaurs, dirt and cars and he's a happy camper. We are counting the days till the snow is gone and we can just be outside all day long.
5. In what feels like another lifetime I was a teacher for 8 years.
6. The travel itch runs deep in my bones. My favorite place to ever visit was South Africa.
8. Sean and I have been married for (almost) 6 years. We got married on our 1 year dating anniversary.
9. I am not a size 2 or even a size 8. I am a real, raw woman who is still struggling to lose the baby weight through a sensible diet and exercise. I'm a work in progress.
10. My favorite part of my job is seeing women find confidence in themselves and blossom into the amazing force that they were meant to be!
One of my greatest desires is for this to be a place of love, encouragement and support for women of all shapes, sizes and colors. My heart and passion is that you will be seen and know that you are loved here!!
So, WELCOME! Make yourself at home.

Love your blog intro! I remember that portable classroom of yours;) Portables are still there and my dyslexia classroom is in one of them now. I am excited to keep up with you through your blog.
